Rock storytellers
Collidastate are an independent self-recording rock duo of James Padley (Adelaide, SA) and Graham Nisbet (Sunshine Coast, QLD). Their sound combines nostalgic rock influences with a storytelling feel that is uniquely theirs.
Their debut EP - Resilience - was released in July 2022 and received industry praise as "a mix of quintessential Australian storytelling and contemporary rock - it's all there" (The Point Music News).
Their follow up EP is due for release in September and in the lead up, the first singles Sore Loser and Stranger in my Town are a taste of altogether something different and exciting. The band have honed their production skills over the past 12 months, and are bringing to life songs that combine acoustic and rock influences in a heartfelt and powerful release.
